Wolfram Schäfers is a visual artist and graduate designer specialising in visual communication. His practice explores how form, material and the act of looking create meaning.

Since 2022 he has exhibited independent series in which acrylic, iron oxide, metallic surfaces, foil and sculptural relief encounter one another.

For Schäfers, art should not only be seen but also considered. Thinking is seeing: the viewer’s mind completes the image.

For him, the cathedral is both a personal point of reference and a universal symbol: an idea conceived, planned, built and reinterpreted over centuries.
