Der Dom ist dabei sowohl geografischer und biografischer Bezugspunkt als auch universelles Zeichen: ein Bauwerk, das über Jahrhunderte gedacht, geplant, gebaut und immer wieder neu gesehen wurde. Der Parthenon erweitert den Blick um einen Dialog mit der antiken Tempelarchitektur.
